Translation/Proofreading/Review
We can translate your documents, websites, software, newsletters etc. We translate mainly from English into French (and vice versa) but other language combinations (such as Spanish, Italian, German, Dutch and Chinese, etc.) can be arranged upon request if they are not urgent.
About certified translations:
Note that we’re not allowed to provide “CERTIFIED” translations (with stamp). However, it often turns out that institutions just want documents “translated by professionals” (so please check with them). In such case, we’re ok to add a stamp from our company (but it won’t mention “Certified”).
Intercultural Training
We can provide Corporate training in French or English about “working and living in Ireland” (dealing with the Irish political system, economy, business management structures, project management, cultural matters, tourism, etc.)… Everything to make any staff expatriation successful!
NOTE: This service requires advance notice (at least 3-4 weeks). A customised training needs proper preparation.

Tariffs
Irish VAT (23%) applies (unless your company is VAT registered in Europe).
Translation and proofreading are traditionally charged per word, and the word rate may vary depending on:
- The quality sought – Is the translation for your own information, or will it be published and distributed all over the world?
- The difficulty of the text – Is it a simple letter or a complex technical manual about, say, nanotechnology?
- The deadline – Is it urgent or are you happy waiting a few days?
- The nature of the document provided – Is it a scan or a clean Word document?
Typically a ballpark figure for 1,000 word document would be between €80 and €120 (exc. VAT), and this will be confirmed before starting the work.
Minimum charge: Please note that a minimum charge of €32 + VAT will apply for each of our services, in order to cover our management costs (email exchanges, invoicing, instructions clarification…).
For on-site work in Ireland (for example, training courses), the duration will be calculated in half-day increments, and the quote may include travel costs, accommodation costs, etc.
